I don't know where to post this thread at so I hope I got the right one. Anyways, hello everybody! My name is Rina from Malaysia. So, please do forgive me for any grammatical errors. A group of friends and I had created a game club and we decided to make one. It'll be our first game/project and we're certainly no professionals . We DO at least want to contribute in this industry! What we'll be creating is a game called "14 Days" , it's a historical game based on Malaysia's history when it was attacked by communist. Of course this is just going to be the theme. The character we'll be playing is a kid name Abang Along. He has a little sister and very caring parents. Until one day, they got attacked by the communist. His parents died saving them and the journey start when both of them have to survive the war. It's going to be a platformer type of game, and something similar to Limbo since we were inspired by it. The art style we had chosen is Wayang Kulit so it'd give more meaning about our country. We've recently started this project a couple of months ago and we'll be releasing a demo soon. As I said before, all of us are no professionals. We're immature and have no experience in creating this type of game but we are doing some progress. And it would be really nice to get as much as tips, help, advice, and critiques! Here are some illustrations I've created |

The links no longer work, but I like the sound of this. Sounds like a nice little indie game. I loved Limbo, it's a great game and the Wayang Kulit style looks nice, it seems like it would fit this type of game very good. I guess the rest is up to the execution, if you would like a tester then let me know, I'd be up for spending a few hours to give you some feedback. -- I write, compose, record, produce and play music. If you have anything to record, mix, write etc. You have me! Looking specifically for a bigger game project. |
