Hi, I'm developing a game and I'll add it here soon. (at least I hope it will be soon)
It's a top down 2d open world game. Originally it was meant to be purely an action game but recently I've realised that it tends to be an RPG in modern settings.
The funny thing is that I haven't ever really played any RPG because I don't like the fantasy. Now I don't exactly know what RPG should contain.
Sure, stats that can get improved, what next? One main story and many substories?
How about possibility to not care about the story and just get a job? (police/firefighter/clerc in grocery store/delivery man...)
How about stuff like hunger and sleeping? Should it be contained or not or optional?
Should the game tend to be more entertaining or serious?
What do you think about the idea of RPG in modern environment?
Do you have any ideas what else should be contained in the game?

well the first thing is to some RPG games like Final Fantasy(doesn't matter which one), but there is an RPG that I think you would like and it called Alpha Protocol the game has got a lot of bad reviews, but I've played it and it's good it does have some Glitches, but most of them are on the PC version so I recommend the xbox360 as it's the version I played and the only glitches I've ran into are not game breaking just minor which can be worked around. And Final Fantasy the best one is 7, but any one of them would do if you want to play the first one there is site called Vizzed.com where you can play all the classic games from NES, SNES, Genesis, GB, GB Color, GBA, ect.... they have the first and second Final Fantasy the games don't go together except maybe the first and second ones then after that each has it's own story
