Queen Mode! Thread

As soon as I saw this video I instantly thought of what could be added to it. The first thing that came to mind is the ability to become a queen and start from the ground up and create your colony. As a queen, you first must find where you will make your nest, then you begin to start laying eggs. You can choose what kind of Ant you want such as a Scout/Trailmaker, Warrior, Worker. Over time as you gain food, your colony grows bigger and bigger, able to fight and conquer other nests.

You would also have some abilities, such as being able to 'hive mind' other ants and control them. Put a green effect with veins around the screen to show you're controlling them [That's at least how I imagine it.] Anyway, this will give you the best of both worlds, letting you run the colony, and play a part in it as well.

I don't know what other features to add, but I hope if people have any good ideas that they throw them in as well.

Ah so it's about strategy game

I think you should define some story or at least goal as why player must conquer the other nests and conquer the land

BTW since the title is Queen Mode, why not expanding it to aliens too? it would be more fun with more races to choose from
