Projec Zomboid not launching after key entry Thread

Hi,

Running Ubuntu 11.10 wiiith SunJava 6.

I ran the demo version fine. Paid for the alpha/full version. Launched it, entered key, then nothing. Game just sits at black screen.

Can't get rid of it unil I 'kill' the java session.

Help please.

It looks like there's a problem with the Desura-PZ installation on Ubuntu 11.10. I downloaded the game from the developer's site, copied the files into /common/project-zomboid/ and all was fixed i.e. I could enter the CD key and the game launched.

If you mean you downloaded the latest unofficial release from the official site then that would be not anything we can fix. The releases are not public yet, this is why we do not have the newest version.

I downloaded the 1.5d version as provided by Desura (I think) - sorry for not making it clear.
