Right, at the moment the newest HW requests are at the top of all the lists, so new mods get the team and older ones are stuck. After 14 days MWs become archived. What I propose is that after 28 days, if a modwatch is not fulfilled, the mod admin can set that request as Priority i.e. they really need a member to fill the place. It would remain archived until a moderator/admin equivalent auths it (so hook it into the v2 Unified Administration System). Being a priority request means it moves up in all the lists. After 60 days unfulfilled they have the option of making it Critical, providing it has been priority for at least 14 days. This requires an admin equivalent to auth again in order to bump it up. Critical requests are always at the top. Obviously the need for admins to accept prioritisation is to stop hundreds of critical requests, but the system if used properly would get people where they are needed most. |
