Was it a corporate biological accident or radicals who triggered a nuclear holocaust? If you're trying to figure it out, you're probably already dead. The 20+ team at VoodooFusion is building the CONFLICT:Omega project. If you look on the Dev Team page, you'll see we definitely have a great team, but we are always looking for more members. Open positions are: modellers, mappers, and texture artists who are comfortable with 3ds modelling or formats that are exportable to 3ds. Our organization and teamwork is tight, but definitely fun and a great way to push our talents to the limit, considering that the proposed gameplay has so many possibilities. If you like the site and the genre grabs you...shoot me a line at jnorris53@carolina.rr.com Thanks for the read, Alfred Norris, VoodooFusion - Edited By Apokalypse On Mon 8th, Dec 2003 @ 12:16:49am |

That seems pretty impressive. Is this a formal company, or a mod team-like setup? I'm assuming this will be a commercial product, given your own engine development . . . |

Thanks for the feedback. While this is a mod-type group, my day-job is as a Certified Financial Planner. What the hell does that matter? LOL Well, in addition to being a 3d modeller, it means I organize and motivate people well It also means that I have some knowledge about getting funding and corporate prospecting. Who knows, perhaps it will merely be a fun project for people to grow in their field...perhaps it will get funded. The goal is to be as professional, to take things to the deepest level possible and have fun. This community is known for members with modelling and mapping talent and we're making an open invitation. Thanks again for the great response. Alfred Norris, VoodooFusion |

I think you could do alot better if you perhaps had a nicer website. In my epxerience websites are like first impression, having a good one goes a long way and i think you guys could do better. p.s fire your concept artist, go to www.conceptart.org and try to recruit from there. - Edited By teh_fonx On Sun 14th, Dec 2003 @ 10:02:17pm -- I want to make a mod like counter-strike but with more guns ,3 teams (maybe),and better gfx !!, |

Wow. Thanks for the uplifting response. </sarcasm off> We have had many compliments on our website thank you very much and its much better than the average project posted here or the average personal page of the majority of people. As for the concept artist, we have several and we are working with them to blend their talents with the dark, pa look we want. Check the dev team section....we are doing quite well. Of course with as large a task as we are working on, we can always use more modellers and mappers. Alfred Norris |

Im sorry i didnt mean to sound as if im bashing the website, i merely noticed that it still needs some refinement. Personally i dont think it gives off the atmosphere of the game well enough. Remeber a website is your window to the world, its a representation of what you stand for. Nyways, good luck with ur game, i hope everything turns out ok. -- I want to make a mod like counter-strike but with more guns ,3 teams (maybe),and better gfx !!, |

Sorry if I was defensive, I really like the site, but yes it could look a bit more rusticated along with the tech. Alfred Norris www.conflictomega.com |
