I have this idea, but wanted to hear what everyone thinks...

Im working on a mod called Siege 2.

What i was hoping may be possible, is setting up a dedicated server that keeps player information based on WON ID (or whatever they use in HL2) so that no matter what server you go onto, some things are persistant, for example, extra skills for your character gained by levels from your score etc.

Just a thought, do you think the input and output of server information will be possible?

i believe that HLRally have that kind of setup, so your car and it's upgrades are hosted on a central server or 2 and the game server connects and gets the info of your car(s) and their modifications
