PHPBB Mod Help Thread

Yes, a bulletin board mod. I understand it's not exactly along the lines of Counterstrike mods, and what-not but it does involve modding and I was hoping for some help.

The idea is rather stupid but I think it would still be successful for users. I've got the forum, and my server (back2reality.net/forums). I'm currently in the midst of putting in the money mods, and what-not.

What I want to do is put my forum into a thing called "Geek Land", which is more or less a geek version of Gaia Online. As a user posts, of course, their post count increases their money. I want it so that they can use that money to buy stuff - anime DVD's, video games, computers, etc. They basically build their own collection, and each user can access their collection through profiles and what-not. They would also have the ability to "Auction" off those items for money.

I know this entire concept sounds rather extensive, but I think it's possible considering mods like Moogie and PHPPModed. So... Yeah... thoughts?
