On a quest to become a GameDev :D Thread

So this is it, i'm sharring you my public quest on becoming a game dev I have some c++ programming knowledge and I really want to succeed in mastering unity3d engine and creating my own video game (platformer - since i think it won't be too much complicated)... Since I've just begun writting gamedev blog previous month with my friend and today i've recorded my first vlog, I need someones opinion about my work, what can i improve and stuff... Keep in mind, i'm still learning and I absolutely don't have enough knowledge to be an instructor to viewers/readers, so these vlogs will not be tutorials, they are my points of view on things i keep encountering on a path becoming a gamedev

I haven't watched your video yet but i recommend you start off easy.If you've never made a game before then you should try making a mod first since even making a platformer can be hard,if you want some more tips or have questions you want answered feel free to message me on here.

Looks interesting, I hoped it goes well. Just keep in mind that Unity uses only C#, JavaScript, and Boo, so you should try to learn everything you can on one of those languages.
