Oblivion crash to desktop Thread

So I've recently decided to replay oblivion with some good mods but I've had an issue with launching the game with the mods. I always launch with OBSE but after loading for a bit with a black screen I hear 1 second of the opening song before it crashes with no message. If anybody has any experience with modding oblivion, can you give me a hand? It would be much appreciated.





I only have 18 mods but if you need any more information please ask. I really want to play this but good lord this is annoying.

Detect it yourself by disabling a batch of 5 mods at once starting from the bottom, if it still crashes, disable other 5 and so on until it starts fine, then you'll know the problem is among the disabled ones (which could be a missing requirement, for instance).

Of course, if it is a missing requirement or something else, you only need to visit the mod's page to either ask support or simply read what you need to make it run fine.

Also, keep in mind that the crash may be caused by multiple mods.
