(Not self-promotion!) Game music covers Thread

Hey everyone, I thought I'd try something different and I made a cover of my favourite game theme - Corridors of Time from Chrono Trigger.

The reason I'm making this thread is because I'd love to hear any covers that the many musicians of IndieDB have done! A thread of collective music, rather than the average "Composer needs work" stuff.

Great covers! Corridors of Time is one of my absolute favorites from Chrono Trigger and your cover is fantastic.

I make all kinds of dumb video game metal covers but enough of that.

I really love this video game cover of "Lost Paintings" from Castlevania by lonlonjp.

Finally, a non-self-promotion post! Nice Chrono Trigger cover Exia, the choir sounds pretty good. What plugin is that?

I just recently covered a few themes from Gauntlet, for NES. It's called Morak's Bane.

I can't say I've actually played Gauntlet myself, but that sounds great regardless!

For the choir I (think I) used the Lumina Choir from SAM Symphobia Lumina

Hey guys,
Not a true cover per se, but I did do a re-imagining (ha, for lack of a better term) a few weeks ago of one of my favorite games of the last couple of years, Los Rios De Alice- from Delirium Studios. The artwork was pretty inspiring to work with, and I just did it on some down time to keep the juices flowing- and to work on some poppier stuff than all of the classical scores I'd been doing.

Great stuff, I love that Gauntlet cover. I've made a lot of stuff that 'inspired by' or 'in the style of' but I've never actually tried a direct cover or re composition of a classic video game track.

I made these 2 with Castlevania & Metroid in mind. I think the working title was "Metroid-Vania"
