Hi there,

I am new here. I set up an account ages ago, but never used it.

I am a developer and have set up info for my new title. What I am wondering is, how does this place work? Who see the page dedicated to my title? How do they see it? How can I get more people to see it?

Things like that.

Many thanks,
Ren

Hi INtense!
Thanks,
I believe I have submitted a game, but I am unsure how I go about generating traffic.

Thanks

Now that your game is up, key is posting articles as high quality ones with lots of images get showcased on the homepage: Indiedb.com

and when the time comes upload your demo, run a giveaway as they are all things we showcase to our community.

You can also always link your articles and download pages to popular or big community groups such as Indie Gamers, Indie Devs and Unity Devs and Gamers using the Linking section at the bottom of the news/file submission form.

INtense!

feillyne,

Thanks!!!

I got solo game play working on said game today, to complete the trifecta of game modes: solo, vs cpu, vs local.

Not sure what this means? i did notice the box at the bottom but it's not clear on how it even works. which side is on or off? What sites are those links on?

The right side is on. Those are "inside links" or internal links or links to other pages/profiles on the network or more accurately, links to other games, mods and groups that already are in the IndieDB database. (All sister sites, ModDB, IndieDB, SlideDB, VRDB share the same database by the by.)

By linking your news article to other profiles on IndieDB, followers of those other profiles will be notified about your newly submitted article even if it was not posted originally on their group page. It simply means your news article or file can be displayed on multiple IndieDB pages at once.
