Newbie asks how to get Indie games on a PSVita? Thread

I see that there is a PSP platform and was just curious how Indie games can be downloaded to a PSVita. I know this is a basic question but you know us older newbies.......

Indie games on the PSP are only possib le via hacking it, by installing CFW, or signing it as OFW, Sony offer no official way to get indie games on their store, other than buyting an official SDK for the PSP/P{SV, which is a few thousand dollars.

You might be able to play PSP homebrew on a PSV, using the PSP emulation mode on the Vita.

That's actually a curious idea, using the emulator on the PS Vita to play PSP indies and hacked games... might need a little work but since it isn't the main software Sony probably won't care that much.

Yep, there are a lot of legal things involved with putting titles on the PSP

Just try not to update anytime soon. PSN mainly release patches to halt Homebrew, E.G: The previous update that added a caps lock for the Browser. If you want any chance to play Indie games or Homebrew, remember not to Update!
