Need some explanation Thread

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Could someone explain how to use the "2nd dreadnought" file? It doesnt seem to work for me. What it DOES seem to do is enhance the AI!! When I played the Federation I was attacked by Gul Dukat, Gul Madred, Gul Kentar, 3 Leget, 6 Janissary, 7 Kulinar, 6 Keldon, 8 Archon, and 4 Hutet Dreadnoughts. According to MY math, that's 41 command points and I'm ONLY allowed 15 maxed out. Also, when I played the Dominion faction of the Cardassians I was attacked by Admiral Sela, Tomalak, Commander Donatra, 6 Tavara, 5 Valdore, 6 Buzzard, 4 Harrier, 4 D'derex, 5 shadow, 3 Vengeance, and 5 Scimitar Dreadnoughts. Now that's 46 command points. And NO, I'm NOT exagerating. I paused the game and counted. So could someone PLEASE explain this to me. Thanks.

Also kinda curious. How is it that I can pound on an enemy ship with an entire fleet and do NO damage. Yet the enemy can take out my entire fleet, including a Dreadnought, with ONLY a couple of frigates?

Just ran across a new one. Playing as Cardassian faction of the Cardassians and took a FULL fleet against the Romulans. Blew the Scimitar to hell. I watched it explode and disappear. About 5 seconds later, a NEW Scimitar appeared in the same spot FULLY healed.
