NEED INDIE GAME IDEA FAST! Thread

I cant come up with a funny, glitchy, weird indie game idea! Do someone have one? Please reply if u do Thanks! I was thinking maybe a rage game? but maybe thats outdated.. Thanks!

As you sound like you’re looking for something funny I’d suggest steampunk pal, you can have real blast in that setting and amp up the wacky-ness. A simple plot could be a professor's robots go haywire and the lab assistant has to clean up the mess. Each level could be the Assistant fighting the robots in a different part of a steam punk town. Pretty simple plot but could make a good FPS style game.

RAGE also had a desert setting so I’m guessing the engine can do that really easily and they are always good for a Steampunk story.

Another idea is have a Sci-fi setting about an Exterminator who specialises in futuristic deadly animals. You could have a laugh with that as his job is considered totally mundane despite it being very dangerous.

I dunno what you’re after but those are ideas that struck me after reading your post.

How about an app where you go to the woods and stalk naked maenads? You need to get laid with one or get eaten by the entire cult.

doomwideshut I am not sure excactly what target group that would be the target for that game.......

Do you wanna strange ideas? It's simple! First: Game where you play by plants, and you need to kill people if they try to cut trees or something else. And second another game, Where you play by wind in big city. You can to create storm, or help peoples. It's game, sort of RPG with strategy elements. I have more ideas for that.

I like the "wind in big city" idea. Perhaps you can incorporate greek mythology and use gods who aren't pleased with the way men are shaping up the world. Cause chaos and natural disasters like the old Sim City games, but with your own innovative approach.
