need help ! vhe keeps crashing while adding wads Thread

Hi all ,
Im new here I map for a while now anyway my valve hammer editor keeps crashing whipe I add wads tho I only got 4 wads when I try to add another wad ( 55 mgb ) it crashes ... please help

P.S : do you think its from my version of vhr if yes what do u suggest me to use .

Are you using it for HL1 or HL2 because there are older versions of the hammer editor for hl1 out there. Did you get it through steam?
Any more information about what your using it for would be great.

The latest stable release is v4.1 I believe for The Hammer Editor (Source/Hl2/EP1 etc)
Though you might be using a 3.5 if your mapping for Half-life 1
