Need a team Thread

I need a team for a half-life 2 project. every thing you can think of besides a webmaster.The idea for this mod is to have it ONLY based on single-player. I am in the middle of writing a script and I also have voice actors ready. I have all of the equipment needed for recording. I that I am going to release about the main story plot is that it revolves around a vampire named Kain and his army. This is not based in an urban enviromente but rather a forest area with ruins of old civilication.wiped out by Kains fathers army.3 years after that kain is assasinated.He was assasinated so that kains father would give up his army to the oppiste side. While dead kains' boady was put into a very bid mossulime.Although there are huge amounts of radiation in the area that cause kain to come back from the dead thirsting blood. He looked no different then he did before he was dead.Kain thirst for blood he decided not to take out on civilians but his assasinator. I like that it is based in a forest, rather than in a city.. There are way too many vampire games based in cities these days.. This would make a very good RPG, as well. Good luck with this!

It sounds like a rip-off and bastardization of the Legacy of Kain story.

Then again, there aren't any Legacy of Kain-ish mods out there at all to my knowledge.

Get this, vampires have been in stories for a while now.

I realize Caine was the father of vampires in the white wolf games/ pen&paper game ect. However, the spelling of the name coupled with the use of an army which is contrary to the nature of Camerilla and all that shit associated with Vampire The Masquerade seems to indicate he's basing this off of the Legacy of Kain, Kain. Not to mention the similarities with the mossoluem and Kain's return for vengence.

So yes, vampires are common in plenty of stories but badly written mod idea's are open to interpretation. Try not to be an ass in the future.

Sure. People will just devote their lives to doing whatever you say because your idea is soooo l337!

You'd be surprised how many mods start that way.

come up with a unique idea and not one from another video game. and what can YOU do. people are not going to want to join your team if you just sit there and have everyone else do your work.

They have to if you can't do it. Though that sounds very sucky.
