My new mod... Thread

As some of you are aware of, I'm engaging the pre-development stages of my new mod. As of now, I've not decided a name for it. However, by reading the storyline, found below, you may get a pretty good idea of what the mod is all about.

Anyhow, I've decided to use the HL2 engine, for I find it to suit the mod's plans and ideas best. With HL2's immerse realism and graphics, I'm sure that with a tweak it could captivate the player with the realistic injuries/pain, gunfire, environments as well as everything possible.

The gameplay modes will include Single Player(deathmatch play or story mode) and Multiplayer(deathmatch play or co-op). We hope to fulfill every player's desires and needs no worse than the best. The mod will be an action/adventure first-person shooter having large, vast environments and breath-taking grade A models.

However, like all mods, we first need a terrific and very skilled development team to get it all started off. So, if you're talented in one of the following fields and think you have what it takes, e-mail me or simply respond to this thread.

We're currently seeking programmers, mappers, modelers, animaters, concept artists, sound technicians, and a webmaster.

Storyline
It was not long ago when a small group of scientists traveled to a jungle located somewhere in the U.S.A. The reason they were sent is highly classified and cannot be revealed to public eyes. However, there is one thing that has been heard word of; none of the scientists returned.

They began to send the Green Beret, Navy Seals, and whoever else they thought could do the job. But, after about a week, those groups, too, stopped communicating with the CIA. Now, they have no choice but to accept the aide of an elite militia that claims to be able to find and neutralize the problem.

In story mode(single player), you will take role as command in this militia. At all costs, you must locate and rescue the remaining scientist(s), and at the same time, survive.

In co-op mode(multiplayer), you will be given the chance to play story mode with the help of other gamers that are online, be it your next-door neighbor or someone in another country.

There will also be a skirmish gameplay mode, where you will be able to play a deathmatch free-for-all with the computer or with other gamers online. Within the multiplayer part, you will be able to play alongside your fellow gamers or against them.

I have seen worse but still need more details, not really clear on the soecifics of the militia. How will it be so original? I am not just trying to flame you, but people want to know this stuff.

Well, I forgot to mention it, but that storyline is only a temporary rough draft and is being worked on this very moment. All in good time, my friend.

There are forests. There are jungles in Hawaii though, and that's in the USA.

sounds abit like predator...
