General game attributes:
The game is set in and around South America, (Cuba, and other locations would also work) in approximately the 1980’s. The maps should generally be on the coast, or on islands in the case of some escape style maps.
Money will feature in the game to buy weapons, however all players will be equiped with random basic armaments of each type to start with. Shops will feature in the maps where you can buy extra armaments.

Possible Game play types:

Gametype 1 “The Deal”

General Information:
Two gangs start at opposite ends of the map, the police start at the police station somewhere in the middle of the map. To win the round the two gangs have to successfully transfer the drugs and money somewhere, and the get the money back to their respective bases. For the police to win the round they must stop both gangs from making it back to their home bases. Both teams respawn constantly at their respective bases with a short time delay after they have died.

Winning the round:
The police get the most cash per person if they successfully stop both gangs from getting their goods back to their home bases. The gangs get most cash if the two teams both get their money and drugs back to their home bases. If only one gang gets back, neither the police nor the gangs are successful and both teams get a smaller sum of money.

The round is over when the suitcase of money and the bag of drugs have made it to certain positions. The suitcase and drug bag is out of play when they reach either the other base or the police station. The police have the ability to confiscate the drugs or money, if a policeman tries to do this he has to make it back to the police station and place the goods there.

Start locations:
The map would have at least 3 start locations for each gang, and the two gangs would randomly start in one of their three home bases. After all, the police are not meant to know where the gangs’ hideouts are.
The police start at the police station, located somewhere in the middle of the map.

Locating the deal:
Both teams have their own radar, on this radar there is marked the location of all the other team members. In the case of the gangs the two couriers (the man with suitcase of money, and the man with the sports bag of drugs) show up differently on the Radar, and the two home bases are marked also. In the case of the police, the police station and the other team members show up. Also, when the deal starts, the police get a marker telling them where the deal is taking place (damned concerned residents always screw things up)

The Deal:
The deal takes a certain amount of time to complete, the handcuffs attaching the briefcase and the courier need to be removed, and the other goods needs checking. This effectively means the two courier gang members have to stop and spend a little time doing the deal, this means it is best to find a house or covered position to hold up in while the deal is happening.

Vehicles:
Both teams’ bases will have various drivable vehicles parked in or around the hideout. Preferably there should be enough cars for each gang member or police officer to have their own car. This should not really be a problem with a nice big carpark for the police station and a garage and cars parked on the streets for the gang members.

Gametype 2 “Bank Robbery”

General Information:
One Gang starts at a random location on a map with a number of banks on it. Once one bank is attacked, all other banks in the area close their doors. If you are a gang member, and you die, you respawn as a security guard at the local security firm after a short period of time. From their, you can either wander around doing nothing or do your job and try to stop the gang members from returning to their base.

Winning the round:
The round ends either when the gangs successfully make it back to one of their hideouts with the money, or the police kill all gang members.

Start locations:
Once again the gang starts in a random start location on the map, and the police start at the local police station.

Locating the money:
Once again, your own team shows up on your personal radar. Once the money is got from the bank, the location of the money also shows up on both teams radar.

Vehicles:
Both teams’ bases will have various drivable vehicles parked in or around the hideout. Preferably there should be enough cars for each gang member or police officer to have their own car. This should not really be a problem with a nice big car park for the police station and a garage and cars parked on the streets for the gang members.

Gametype 3 “Drug bust”

General Information:
The gang starts in a large drug lord’s mansion. The team then has to make it to an escape point (state border, docks, small airstrip) In the mansion itself there is valuables spread around the place (drugs, money, antiques, paintings) a gang member who successfully makes it to the escape point with a valuable item gains some extra money, although this is not a necessary requirement.

Winning the round:
The round is won when either all escaping gang members are dead, or 50% of them make it alive to the escape point.

Death:
Once you are dead, you spawn as an inmate or prison guard at the local prison, here you get to spend the time while the others finish the round, fighting it out with fists, bed legs and bottles in a prison brawl just for the fun of it. You will also get the option to spectate instead, but the option for some good violent entertainment will always be available, as the players don’t want to be bored out of their skulls while the last gang member camps it out.

Start locations:
The gang starts at the drug lord’s mansion, or similar location. The police start at a location approximately half way between the gang’s spawn and their escape point.

Locating your escape
Once again, your own team shows up on your personal radar. The police also have the location of the mansion displayed, and the gang has the location of their escape point displayed.

Vehicles:
Both teams’ bases will have various drivable vehicles parked in or around the hideout. Preferably there should be enough cars for each gang member or police officer to have their own car. The gang vehicles in this scenario would probably be four wheel drives with ample passenger space. The police may also be supplied with a single helicopter (possibly)


Well, what do you think? The title is temporary, and I am just throwing ideas around at the moment. But meh, it might work. I just thought I'd post it to see what others thought.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys :) I hope I can make this happen.. I have almost all the skills to do it on my own, so I may be able to do this :)
