Movie duels II mac Thread

Does the mac version of this mod actually work? I've played it at a friends house on his pc and its awesome but when i follow the instructions from that link it doesn't work, i notice that there is no 'gamedata' folder in my jedi academy install and when i try to click on the .bat file my mac doesn't recognise it. I've tried creating a gamedata file where it should be and putting the mod there but that doesn't work either.

Please, any help would be amazing because i love this mod and would like to play this at home rather than my friends house all the time, thanks in advance.
