MOVE ON Thread

Ok it is time for me to post my real thoughts on this drama so everyone on this forum grows up for a bloody minute. Ok firstly the thread was deleted because azz0r was told 3 TIMES not to re-open it. Ok sure the thread has significance it was big, lots of history and now that spam & flaming has gone it was an outlet for you all but I mean can't we fkn grow up. Personally I would not have deleted it but Greg didn't see that he just saw it as azz0r ignoring him which was justified.

Now you fkcers have given him so much shit he is thinking of just taking modDB down. The COLD HARD FACT is that he is the only reason this site is up. Hosting costs of this site would be very HIGH not to mention the custom scripts we require to run. Greg does all this out of his own back pocket. Admittably I did code things for him and modDB will continue to refer customers however he is owed that much. In v2.0 i will negoiate with him, leave the site alone and i will get you lots of oktagone visitors but can we put this behind us. Seems the people on this forum love nothing more than to bitch and moan. Well I have never banned an established forum member before but the next person to complain will be. Appreciate the site for its mods appreciate the site for it even allowing you to create those threads in the first place (i.e. sure they maybe fun, but they are usless and most forums would see them deleted instantly).

If you don't agree with this then I am sorry, Greg was trying to prove a point to azz0r and he took extreme action to prove it. I know *we* all think it was wrong but it was just how he saw it. So yeah i know azz0r would agree with what I said he so lets just chill and return to normal forum posting.

None of you have done as much for this site as Greg has, we are friends and we all do have bad judgements just look at President Bush :o

Intense: I understand how much Greg has done for this site, but I think the problem (other than the wuggawoo deal) is that most of us have never seen, or even heard of, his good side, which he obviously has.

We all sorely miss azz0r and his whole deal with Greg unfortunately had nothing to do with us, so all we could do was sit back and watch, and let me tell you it was not pleasant. None of us enjoyed what happened, or even felt it necessary, but that's because we didn't see half of what was going on between the two. I know azz0r had his arrogant and stubborn side but that's partly why we love him, even though some of us hate to love him I'm also disappointed he decided to leave, but I guess that's happened, it's a bad chemical reaction between him and Greg I guess.

And please do NOT think for a moment that the majority of the forum people love nothing more than whining and moaning, because while some of us are completely opposed to what has occurred, we all know that there was reason, petty as it seemed, for all the events that have occurred here recently.

I dunno, I guess what I'm basically trying to say here is that I don't think we need this much of a 'mass cleansing', more of what is needed is what Intense asks for, no, demands: MOVE ON. So I second that notion, people, move on and be grateful and it will all be a happy place once more! This is a mod site, so keep it that way; though we do have room for 'banter', remember moddb's main purpose.

I have a question, why was Legalize Drugs deleted? It was a valid discussion.

I could not agree more to this post, better put than mine! This is a two sided coin as you mentioned. People are mocking greg without realising what he does for this site and he deleted that thread because of azz0rs arrogence without realising the repercussions. azz0r was looking for a break from this page so now he has it.I am just shocked at what some of you guys posted, hell i reckon some of the ruder ones owe greg an apology /me Stares at BC, i unbanned you before i read your post, in australia we don't threaten people with death

SA, that was very well said, and I have to say that after this has all passed I now stand aside you and your opinion. I miss azz0r terribly, but this is only a site, and the show must go on. azz0r hasn't disappeared, and we can speak to him on MSN anytime. I just wish he would reconsider.
