I just beat the game without any cheats and wanted to go
through it again and play around with all of the items and augs I didn’t get to
use last time. I figured the best way to do this would be change the storage
space for items, essentially giving me more inventory room. I went into the
DeusEx/systems folder and found the file "DeusExitems" which is
listed as a U File. Well, I looked online and cracked the file using an unreal
engine modifier called WOTgreal. It is a freeware editing tool. I used the
Advanced Exporter tool to break the U File into many smaller UC files which I
could then edit the parameters of. However, I'm not sure how to recompress all
of the UC files back into a single U File.
Does anyone know how to do this? It does not even need to be
with the same program I was using though that would be convenient. I figure
most of the hard programming work is done but I cannot make the last step go
through. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
