Hello, I want to report a possible bug with the ModDB Video Upload by URL feature. I want to upload this video Youtube.com but every time it returns a HTTP error trying to upload from URL. I am trying to upload it to a mod's Videos section but to no avail. It's been a while since I first uploaded a video on moddb, so yeah. Am I using the wrong URL or is the video too long or too new format? The video is moderately long, being 11 minutes, 28 seconds. A couple of people have tried uploading it too for a test and it returns the same error every time. I am wondering if it has something to do with the https URL instead of http or the fact the YT video in question can go as high as 1080p50 HD so I wonder if YouTube's new video player has problems with uploading a video to this site.

odd, that video doesn't appear to work but others I tested to. I'm not sure what the cause is but you should be able to upload the video file directly. -- Scott Reismanis |
