modDB Euro Video Stream Thread

Hi Guys,

We are about to deploy an EU media mirror that will host moddb's video streams (and potenially a selection of files in the future) with the goal of spreading the bandwidth accross our 3 sites.

This will also provide the added benefit of providing much faster video streaming to our friends in the EU and the UK.

We are definatelly looking at feedback on the new EU mirror, such as "hai guys im in the UK but not getting to the UK mirror", or "I'm now getting much slower streaming speeds!"

Our new Euro mirror is located in the Netherlands, and you can tell you are streaming to it if you see "Transferring data from eu.media.moddb.com" in your Firefox/IE status bar, then you are hitting the EU mirror.

We allready do this for AU/NZ users with our Australian media mirror - and are looking to expand on this geographic mirror selection in the future.
