Steam doesn't mean that it's restricted to Half-Life 2. ESF is definitely for Half-Life 1. However, you can find that for like $5 at Kmart or online at Ebay for real cheap prices. Not a big price to pay when you see how many big, cool-looking mods are out there (Ghost Ops was just released, and you got Cstrike, Day of Defeat, Natural Selection, Somme Valley, etc., all looking like new). Oh, and after you get Half-Life 1, your directory should be this when you go to the setup: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods, or where you put it in your C drive. After that, when you open Steam and go to Play Games, it will be half the way down. Hope that helps. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |
