Modcast Thread

Is there any signs of this actually coming to the iPod? I love my podcasts, and a podcast devoted to mods would complete my video game news "circle".

Well, we first have to get a PodCast rolling, and once we do, we definitely are going to make it available to download to your iPod, and even hopefully have a space on iTunes.

what about mp3 player in general because i have a Creative Zen Vinson M like Zencast.com

Murdock, I have a Zen Vision: M, too. I'm also a strong believe that iPods shouldn't be the default MP3 player and iTunes shouldn't be the defualt streaming audio program. Therefore, I'll make sure that this isn't an Apple marketing victory, and that it's avaliable to everyone.

....wait, huh? If your MP3 player can play mp3's, then you can play a podcast. lol

As far as a podcast goes, they can stream on WinAmp, Windows Media Player, and iTunes. There's no difference, so long as it plays .aspx files. I don't see what's wrong with making iTunes the default program, since it is free to everyone, and we can host the podcast through the store.

It's just a question of when we get it done, which at this point looks to be "The far side of Nevernever."

To touch on being able to export Modcasts to your MP3, we haven't considered it, but thanks for inadvertently putting it on the table, Sn4tcH. I realized now you weren't referring to that, I was mislead by the topic
