mineview: a WebGL viewer for minecraft worlds helping people share creations Thread

I started working with WebGL quite sometime ago and wanted to build some nice stuff.

I would like to go ahead and build a web utility that allows people to share their minecraft creations directly on the web such that others can view/explore them directly on the web browser. I would like to know if something like this exists. I would also like to receive ideas, criticism etc.

Well, it's not that big deal, since you can just run java in your browser and run entire MC that way.
Maybe it could be useful for mobile browsers though.

I am aware that the first Minecraft was played on browser with the plugin. I wish to learn a bit more and try implementing certain things not existing in the game. Do you think it will be a good learning experience? And I am open to other ideas
