Hi guys, check out Maesai, is a tileset for 2D games, 100% vector, you may be interested. Also I'm planning to make new packs with animation spritesheets, items, thematic tiles, etc.

Those are absolutely stunning. Great work.

If this is successful, do you plan on expanding the set into different areas? (ie, special crates pack)

Hey Aliencube,
Yes, I'm actually working right now in some updates for the basic tileset, and more extensions:

  • Items pack
  • Animated tiles
  • Characters
  • Thematic tile packs (space, medieval, candy, industrial, etc)

You can check the latests posts regarding that in Maesaigraphics.tumblr.com

Hi Francisco,

this pack looks very promising, I also really like your style. Regarding a software for modifying these assets, what do you suggest for a newbie approaching 2D graphic?

Hi TheSorcerer, I made all with Sketch 3; but the assets are delivered in SVG so you can use any vector software. You can try using Inkscape, it's pretty good and free.

I'm releasing right now the first update to the pack, adding some character spritesheets:

Old school, super mario like graphics...cool! Such graphics would work very well with hand-held based games. E.g. android and iso phones.

Nice! would you suggest any tools for creating people (beautiful) in 2D?
