My name is Edwin and I work for Feral and we did the Mad and Linux ports of Med 2. The mod works great on the Mac and Linux versions we developed however it would be a lot easier for end users if the mod could be lowercased as the Linux version requires lower case files to work. Also having a version that just has the compressed files included (with no Windows only installer) would be useful as currently you need to run the installer then extract the files using Windows, lower case them then move them into the Mac/Linux data folder so although the mod does not need Windows to run it does need Windows to install. Would there be any issues/objections with hosting a Mac/Linux data set lowercased and without the Windows installer? |
