Hi,

I am looking for a 1 on 1 private consultation from a senior coder/game developer.

Experience with unity may be useful but more more importantly i am looking i am looking for someone who can translate years of programming experience into a rough indication of the required time to modify/build a engine and/or develop tools that may be needed.

This is not a recruitment post at this point (as its the wrong forum), more of a pre-planning stage and just looking for advice.

If you may be able to help me out please - message me on skype; Z_Trader AT hotmail.com

I would be most grateful for any free advice offers, but future prospect could include rev share on this exciting new project, if i do not get any free advice i will also be open to offers from commercial consults.

In short what i am trying to say is i have very limited funds but i am also very serious about this project moving forward.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, hope to hear from you on skype

Hi Zmorfius,

Limited funds can be circumnavigated when its software costs. All these fabulous professional tools are free open-source:

Graphic Design : GIMP; Vector Art : Inkscape; 3D : Blender; Texture Mapping : XNormal; 2D Pixel Art : Grafx2; 3D Video : Blender; Other Video : Pitivi; Slideshows/Docs : OpenOffice;

You should tell us what type of a game you are trying to make if you want any hints other. Is it 3D/2D? A platformer, RPG ?? What game might we compare it too?

Timeline is dependent on Team Members experience and the quality level desired.

Make a slideshow or PDF for attracting a team and hyperlink it when advertising in the forums.

Best of luck with your dev,

Etherflows

PS Feel free to Skype me any questions at any time during your dev - Who knows I might know something? Google it for yourself first though!
