KOTOR II XBOX-Like UI (Controller Mod) Thread

(*DISCLAIMER*) First and foremost, I don't post on forums often so I apologize if this thread isn't where it should be. I did my best to search for previous threads that deal with the same issue and to put this thread in the right spot. To my knowledge there aren't any other posts (on Mod DB) about this.

So I've done a lot of searching and have had little success trying to find any kind of mod that can make KOTOR II possible to play with a controller. I realize that the majority of people don't use controllers but I do. In fact, I stumbled across a few threads on other websites asking for this sort of mod, so there is some demand for it. I enjoy hooking my computer to a TV and playing games on it, and the only practical way to do that is with a controller.

Therefore, I am humbly asking if it would be possible for anyone to create a mod for KOTOR II that will give it an XBOX-Like UI. What I mean by that is to give the game the same (or similar) interface that the original version for the XBOX has. Ideally I would like the mod to give the game a UI that is identical to the XBOX version. Fundamentally I would want the mod to make the game playable with any kind of controller.

At the moment it is very difficult to play with a controller because the UI is designed to be navigated by a mouse. This makes using a controller difficult because navigating menus and controlling movement must be mapped to different directional inputs on the controller. Basically, there aren't enough control sticks on the controller.

I plan to play the game with the Restored Content Mod so I don't know if that would effect the design of the mod. I have absolutely no experience in designing mods, otherwise I would have attempted to this myself. Any input on this issue is greatly appreciated.

I agree I would vastly appreciated if there was a controller Mod For the PC version of KOTOR2 I have been Searching for a mod for this and have found next to nothing I would make the mod myself if i knew how to mod in the first place. I don't use Xbox controllers So it would have to be multi Controller friendly.
