KOTOR :D Thread

well thats the reason i havent been posting lately such an awesome game and very well done, besides some obvious glitches... though there is xbox live content... i guess that means downloadable patches in the future

Knights of the Old Republic eh? Took me a sec to realize that it is. What kinds of glitches? Tell me about the game I know jack shit about it.

Glitches? I was tempted to get it, but Ill wait for the PC version.

there is no online play, yet at least though the xbox live content is a question still. As for the glitches, have you ever watched portal on g4 40oz, when they show games like everquest and of the sort, and the characters just kind of move for 10 spaces then warp... well they dont do that entirely, but sometimes npc's will just start randomly fading in and out... say if you get in there way and start talking to someone, they will just warp right through you, then be sent right back

weird as it is, the game is still very much playable

Rent it, always best thing to do, not that anyone does including me

JD portal is alright, but I watch G4TV.com because of Laura

i dont watch it much at all, like you i tend to stick with the pulse and g4tv

the ad looks damn cool... but ill wait for the comp version... itll be better, of course

i just love the lightsaber though, you can find crystals throughout the game that enhance your saber. You can find crystals to change the color, and add effects... its so awesome

and not to mention the different types of sabers

didnt know there were different effects... isnt a light saber a light saber, just perhaps different coloring and handle style? of course there are the double sided ones...

ya, basicly... there is your average lightsaber, then you got your double sided ones, then there is also a smaller version almost like a lightsaber knife or short sword but i havent seen one of those yet

so you can do covert ops with the mini lightsaber?

And then you got your blurring lightsaber.

G4TV.com is the name of a show on G4, a video game channel. The hosts are these 2 chicks and a guy. One of the girls is pretty hot.

i want to change my opinoin of this game... im so pissed off at it now the damn game is fucking up and now i cant progress in the story because of it!!!!!!!! Pisses me the hell off now i want to snap the damn disk in half :pissed:

i figured a way passed it though... yes it was a glitch... a very severe glitch, it worked since turning it off yesterday

I've been hearing a lot of nothing about this game. Why don't you tell me more since I'm too lazy to go look it up.

well its an rpg set 1000 years before episode 1, there are millions of jedi and sith all over the place.

The Republic had just fought the Mandalorian Wars for quite some time and were recovering when they were overrun by some corrupted jedi. the 2 jedi (Revan and Malek) that rebel try to ride the galaxy of the jedi, but one jedi named Bastillia leads an assault on the sith fleet and kills Revan the stronger of the 2 dark jedi, well the jedi dont kill him Malek attacks Revans ship and kills him. Malek takes Revans position as sith lord. And throughout the game, Malek is searching for Bastillia.

You get to make your own character from scratch or choose a pregenerated one. There are 3 classes to choose from, Scoundrel, Soldier, and Scout, each with there own abilities. you can also choose your gender... though sadly you cant choose your race.

there are many skills and abilites to learn, using two weapons at once. As for combat, the combat is turnbased but its in a continuous turnbased mode, so theres always something happening, its like real-life but you take turns hitting each other.

The game is mediocre until you get the jedi training, about an hour or two into the game. Being able to choose your jedi class and lightsaber color is cool. not to mention that you can find other crystals to enhance your sabers power, and even change its color.

overall this game is awesome and should not be overlooked
