Hi, guys! I am a beginner indie game dev. I started with visual novels because it is the easiest to make, personally. Although some people may argue that it is not considered a game, it's still my first baby step towards the game dev industry. I am currently working on another visual novel, then for my next project, I'd like to try to develop an RPG game. The first visual novel I made is published on Steam under the title 'Carpe Diem'. It was surprisingly well-received, sitting at 91% positive out of 4000+ reviews. I received a lot of request to make more of it or something similar and it inspired me to develop a sequel, which is what this post is about. It is still going to be a visual novel (unfortunately) but it will be significantly longer than the previous one. Not to mention, I actually found artists, composers and coders to help me make it as good as possible. I also plan to add mini-games for it to deviate a bit from the old-style text-based story.
This project is up on Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight, and I would really appreciate the support of anyone interested. You can also find more information about it in the links. Thank you very much! Edited by: Eyzi |
