Hey, this is a quick video of how interactive music can work in video games:

Basically what I've done here is compose four separate layers in Logic Pro which would be suitable for a game in the horror genre. After bouncing the audio out as a multi-channel file I imported it into FMOD, from there I created a vertical layer sub mix. I achieve this by using a parameter and cross fading I was able to audition each layer one by one, as you can hear in the video above.

The great thing about FMOD is the head of the music department can view how the music will work in game before being implemented which saves this task having to be repeated time and time again. For people like myself you don't know anything about code this is a great tool to use, once you feel the music is ready all you have to do is export the build, choosing what format the code has to be in and from there it can be sent to the programmer(s).
