Hi everybody,

I have an idea for an truly immersive experience for a horror/survival game using Oculus VR. i'm not a developer neither designer, because of this i'm here trying to make a team, discuss, and eventually, put our project in a crowfouding site.

The idea of this game is to put the gamer inside of an abandoned themed park, where you need to think logically and try to find a way to get out, this will be the scariest experience of anyone.

My inspiration came from this park (nara-dreamland-abandoned-theme-park)

What do you think? i'd like to discuss with some of you.

Thanks to all.

before you even conceive of a game idea make sure you well know this new hardware and it's functionality.

such as your level will have to be scaled and sized much differently to fit the view of the rift.

before you go asking for people to collaborate on a concept get all the level design info for the rift most likely from unreal figure it if it requires unreal 3 our some other expensive tech as it probably does and make a prototype then you can start talking big picture.

this is new tech you need to decide if it's worth investing in and if you have the understanding and resources to build off the idea.

Not to mention that he wants to put his project on a "crowfouding" site.

Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

A theme park is a great location for this kind of game! Nothing is scarier than a psycho clown or the ghost of a victim in an accident
