I suggest you separate current titles from upcoming titles. Thread

A lot of the top IndieDB games are upcoming titles, and it does not seem fair in comparing upcoming titles with already released "in the wild" titles.

I hope you will consider separating these two categories next year. Even this year, you could separate the votes into "most popular Indie release/s" (for current releases) and "most anticipated upcoming Indie title/s" (for upcoming releases). For an upcoming game to win over an already released game based largely on "opportunity + obstacle = desire" seems not right, in my view anyway.
