I am looking for a similar game to Call of Duty to mod Thread

I've spent all my last 5 years modding modern warfare 2 and black ops. I have even created a very successful mod for black ops. However, there are not many active black ops players left. I gave up and decided to move on to another game.

I have messed around with unity and udk for several months, only to find out that I neither had time nor resources to create a multiplayer game.

Currently what I am looking for is a FPS game pretty much like CoD.

- There should be minimum 24 player servers.
- A way to save stats encrypted in players computer or serverside.
- Tools for making new maps would be a nice feature.
- It must be a first person shooter.
- It would be great if the game can handle open world.

There are many videos of my black ops mod: zombie epidemic mod on youtube. You may need to watch a video or two to get the grasp of what I have in mind.

arma? i wouldent say arma fasted paced as cod but it can be pretty intense when your in a building having gunfights

Cube 2: Sauerbraten, it is free and open source but it is more like a Quake style multiplayer FPS game. Other than that it has all the feature that you want.

Counter strike: source,it is free,easy to mod and a lot of people still play it
