i put my mod in the database but they didn't authorise it. i think its fairly ok, but can someone enlighten me on why its banned?

these are the 3 things that will get u authorisation

1. Site - A publically visable site containing information and pictures from your mod is required (just a forum is not adequate)
2. Idea - Is this mods idea & work unique? Any mods mimicing, and copying others ideas will be ignored
3. Team - Are you, or does this mod have a dedicated leader & team who realise making a mod can take years?

We don't PM people with the reason. People should be aware of the rules, as they tick a checkbox when they submit a mod, confirming that they are aware of the rules. Generally, I leave a comment in the mod profile when banning it. I'd say that the individual banned it because of the broken images on the website. If you fix up the website, PM me and I will review the authorisation.
