How to change crossbow (HL2) bols in bullets? Thread

I am nearly finished with my 5Th Hl2 (ep2) SP-mod called Episode 3; The Closure
but before i can do so i still need to fix some small issues.

One if it is the way the replacement weapon for the crossbow is firering.
I use a sniper rifle model as replacement, and it does fire normal bullets,
not those glowing bolts. But, when it does hit a enemie it still gets stuck
at the wall behind it, as if there is a bolt, even when it can't be seen.

I asked the weapon modeler about it and he said that that needs coding but
he isn't any good in that.

So, could someone please help me with this, because it would be so much better
if i could make this work before the mod is released.
