Hi, Im trying to import my q3 map of the naruto bridge
User Posted Image

into hl2
I've gotten it to work so far except the water does not transparent or move, can someone help me with the shader for it?

also the custom sky I have created does not work and I also think its the shader's problem for this too. If anyone can help please post.

here is the map so far, i used a hl2 sky to show the map.

... wtf are you talking about?

ive made custom textures, so far the water texture works and Ive got it transparent but not all the water features work well.

I want to know the full aspects of a custom water shader.

The custom sky when I add it just does a mirror effect.

bottom line: if the water is all screwed up, and the skybox is too, instead of spending a large amount of time looking for why it isnt working the way it should, just create new water and a new skybox. i dont see what you dont understand...

creating a new water and skybox will not do shit all.. since it is the SHADERs problem...

making a new texture won't just spawn a random working shader for it...
