Hello everybody, I'm a game designer on the project "Hexal", which is a browser game we are realizing with the devloper, Nialcen.
Here is a schema of the future mini map ingame : Between a role playing and a strategy game, there will be 3 factions fighting. The red team, the yellow team and the blue team. Each one will have 3 territories, with her own resources. To get the other resources, she will have to go on the pvp zones. By example, the red team will have to go in A, to get the blue team resource, in B to get the yellow team resource. The D zone will have a unique resource, and will be a bigger battle zone, as the 3 teams will be there to fight the others. The goal is to stay the last survivor faction, with a maximum of territories (her own zones to keep, and the conquested zones). Indeed, the factions will be attacked everyday by monsters, so the game will be focused on limited time parties (of a few weeks or few months, depending on the players actions). Each party will count about 300 players (100 per factions). And the role play aspect in all of this ? There is a common goal, but the players will have an individual role to play. They will be able to harvest, craft items (and sale it), figth against others players. There is no npc ingame, so they will depend from each other. Everyday, they will have a few points actions (about 2h of game), so they will have to use it with strategy and communicate between us (via a private forum in each faction, and in private message) to not waste it. Here is what looks like the main screen actually (that images are not those who will be It's not just a picture, because many of the feature is already developed on the game. The player will move via the mini map. If he clicks on "récolter du If you wanna play this game, do not hesitate to support the project and share it. Come visit us on Ulule (it's like Kickstarter in France) : Also, do not hesitate to ask questions, or bring us your feedbacks about the project. Thank you everybody |
