Herbert West's Reanimator custom story for Amnesia | Locked | |

I posted a thread earlier but found out it was the wrong section, my bad there. Anyway, I had a thought earlier today, thinking about Herbet West's Reanimator, the renowned HP Lovecraft story and movie, as a basis for an Amnesia mod. I don't really want to go for the movie interpretation, as it's set in modern era so the assets would fit as well, even the Penumbra assets would help so much, so I've been thinking a sequel to the original story would make a fantastic custom story with lots of potential. This is mostly just a idea tennis thread, I don't really expect anyone to do it, and although I'd love to try my hand at it myself, I am not a developer and hardly a modder, though it would be fun to try and figure it out. I might start drawing out what the respective areas would look like just to see if the story's setting would make a coherent level (which it should, it's Lovecraft). If I do decide to say, hey, I'm new to this, but I want to try, then this is where I'll start. I'd love some help or advice, I don't really expect this to be a quality mod unless I really decide to invest a lot of time in it(one thing I would need help figuring out is importing assets from Penumbra, unless there's already a program or mod for that to make it easier). Regardless, tell me what you guys think. Edited by: SonofX51 |

Need to bump to ask a question, are Penumbra resources already available with the hpl editor or do they need to be imported? If so I'd like to know how. |
