HELP PLZ HL HELP Thread

I CAN't PLAY mods because when I try to join a server it say error .dll[cl_dlls/client.dll differs from servers what the heck does that mean and how do I get rid of it. HHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!

Is Half Life fully patched up? Are you using Steam? What are your system specs? All this info is needed if you want someone to help you with your problem.

I am useing steam

Means you dont have the latest mod version

The site says it's the latest version unless i didn't patch it correctly
How do i patch stuff

it may be the latest patch

but it might only be an update from the previous version

you still might need the prevoius version

Could you just tell me how to patch

Download the patch, install it, and play. It's really not difficult.

What mod are you trying to play?

duble click the installer

let it install to the steam directory

I SAID ALREADY THAT I AM USEING STEAM AND THE MOD IS TOUR OF DUTY

ok, so make sure you have downloaded the latest, and RIGHT patch (figure that one out yourself at the website)

Then , when downloaded

DOUBLE CLICK AND INSTALL THE PHUCKING THING

(into the steam directory.. but it should point there itself)
