Help needed Thread

I have an idea for a new mod for Half-Life, but in order to get it started I will need the help of a modeler/skinner and several mappers.

To any modeler interested: the work is fairly simple, just some new faces are needed at the moment, no entire new models.

To any mappers interested: this will be a large scale project, so be prepared to be the project for the long haul!

I hope to have the website up and running soon, so I can list the game in the mod database (and the help wanted section.)

Exactly. How do you expect to garner members if all you're going to say is, "I got an idea"? Please leave more information so you can be successful in your endeavor.

Ah, that was the idea! Hopefully, this way you're actually pay attention to what I'm going to say! Ok, here's the story (watch out, it's fairly long):

It's set some time after the Black Mesa incident, probably just before the start of the story in Half-Life 2.

After the destruction of the lead controller at the end of Half-Life the alien slaves on Xen rebeled against their masters. With the help of human forces, the controllers, reeling from the lost of their leader, were swiftly overthrown and banished.

A treaty was established between Earth and Xen, which would benefit both parties. In addition to several trade agreements, the Xenians agreed to allow humans to settle some sections of Xen. In exchange the Xenians would be taught our science, as the controllers previously ensured that their slaves were kept ignorant.

In the game you are a young geologist who has been recruited by Black Mesa to investigate some strange geographical anomalies which have detect near some of the human facilities.

You are teleported to Xen to begin your work when something goes terribly wrong and all hell breaks loose. You and a friend you meet on Xen must now battle across the planet trying to stay alive while trying to stop another war breaking out between Xen and Earth.

That's the story, so what do you think?

no offense but its been done more times than anime mods have been tried...
