help needed with walve hammer v3.4 Thread

I'v made this map for halflife i need to test play it, and when I do it starts up halflife like normal and then quits halflife back to windows. Why does it do this,
and how can i fix it?

i have a penium 4 prossesor, 40 gigabyte harddrve space,
windows xp, 260080 pysical memory,bout all i know

do u launch hl through valve hammer editor? that might be teh problem

but the only thing that you can launch with is hammer.

Can you put the map in the maps folder then use the HL cheat to get to it
Try to use the cheat
Here just scroll down some to the map cheat

you cant to do that, the hl map file is .bmp hammer un imported maps are .rfl and .map

why isnt my sig wright?

well if worse comes to worse just export and play the map unfinished and keep doing that

have you tried just reinstallin hammer

dang all i got was the error: host error, no precache

but reinstalling caused the problem

all i know is that it has to do something with me map

AHA! i found out the problem! my map editor build program, vis coulden find one of its vital files,therefor I must try turning vis of but it might not work

now qbsp's reporting error so off with that

I can replase the missing file but it will take hard work and take a while
