Help Installing Mods for SW:EAW:FOC Thread

I have no idea how to install mods, but I love EAW: FOC but I`m getting a little bored of the same old units and heroes with it. So how do you install a mod?
Is it different for each mod ? If so could you leave instruction for installing Republic at War, Galaxy at War(last one on the list for sw:eaw:foc), Clone Wars(the popular one), and the sub-mod for the clone wars that make it cartoonish. Also how do you undo the mods without deleting them so you can play a different one. Lastly with the instructions start from step one because I know nothing about installing mods. Sorry wrong part please no responds I`m moving it.
