Help Downloading Mods (specifically S.T.A.L.K.E.R mods) Thread

Hi,

My name is Chrystian and I am new to the modding scene. I want to download either the Autumn Aurora 2.1 or Misery 2.1.1 mods for Stalker SOC and Stalker COP respectively. Whenever I follow the directions given to me by other thread, videos, and various other online guides, I run the setup and it says that I have at least 3 missing files. The files that I am missing are almost always presets, such as language, FOV, and aspect ratio. Not to mention I get a notice saying that every file I am extracting is corrupt. I use Windows 10 and I was using WinRAR for extraction. I honestly have no clue what the issue is and if anyone could help, that would be fantastic. I am also using the Steam version for all of my stalker games and I do have the steam overlay off. I really appreciate any help I can get, because I really enjoy the stalker games, and I want to enhance my experience. The modding community always seemed fairly positive and I saw it fit to become part of it. Well, I'm not off to a great start, so any suggestions or acknowledgment that this is an issue seen by other people and not just me, would help a lot. (The latter really being used to validate my frustration, but appreciated nonetheless.) So, again thank you and have a great day.
