Hammer launch error Thread

Hi, I have Steam Source SDK and I'm having problems while launching it.
When I launch the Source SDK, it appears on the tray and Steam thinks that it is launched, but no window pops up... nothing happens.

When I try to launch the Hammer.exe file from the dirictory, it gives me the following message: "This application has failed to start because Steam.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem". I have re-installed Steam and Source SDK fully, but it didn't change anything...

Please help me.

Hammer.exe would not work clicking on it since Steam runs it with some parameters about your account. Put your eye on why you can´t open hammer from steam (that´s the way it have to run) but by you say about the tray, the problem comes from other thing. Check your Windows screen configuration, and be sure that at least you used the game for the one you´ll map, at least one time after installing hammer.
