hey modders u think u can make plans for a jet mod in gta3 that will shoot missles and drop bombs and shit that would be badass and i want in if u guys make it thx!!

yeah I think bf1942 would be better its made for all kinds of planes all you goota do is map and make the planes... alot simpler but whateveh. godluck :D

Why make another "mod" that adds only a vehicle? Besides, this guy is just saying he'd like to see it, not that he'd make it.

You can't do that, the engine doesn't work that way. You might be able to get a plane to fire missiles by giving it the same flags as the Hunter, but if you're flying in a plane, it's damn near impossible to aim at anything. Bombs can't be dropped, they don't already exist in the game.

gta doesn't really have that type of scripting capabilities...

Khan if you already know that GTA can't do that, why did you ask?

@ cHIs - GTA's engine is not mod-friendly. Compared to most other games that people mode, your capabilities are very limited. You can't add new animations or introduce completely new models unless they are map additions that fit within the GTA world as is. It's all because of damn Renderware, I hope they use something different in the next installment.
