GeoWhere - Accuracy Rewarded
Hi everyone. This is my very first post here, hello!I have released this game close to one year ago, but I have never posted in the indie games forums asking for feedback. I actually never really had a proper feedback session in order to try to get the game better. Silly me!
With that being said, I would like to present to you guys my game, Geowhere.
For those who have played the game GeoGuessr, it's the very same idea. But for Android. When I first developed the game, I could not find any other similar game in the market, so I went for it. The game presents 5 random points in the world to the gamer, using Google Street View. The gamer then opens Google Maps and tries to guess when this points is. The closer the guess the more points he makes. After the game is completed (5 rounds) I present all guesses made and the correct locations and give the opportunity for the player to share this game in Social Media. If another friend click on the shared link and has the game installed, then the friend can play the same round and try to beat his friend on points. This is the worst performing flow of the game. Just 1% of players share on Facebook and even less actually click on the link to play it.
Minimum platform is Android 3.0+. Since I released it, I have had 40 thousand downloads, and have close between 100 to 200 players every day. It is a casual game, the player does not feel the need to play every day. This is something I am trying to change, if I can. Since the game is free, I rely on the a d s, so the more people playing it every day, the better for me. I have not yet had a breakthrough idea as of yet on how to change this. I am currently working on two new functionalities: To allow the player to play selected countries (he chooses which country(ies) the wants to play at) and turn-based multiplayer game.

So, I guess this is it. I am looking for feedback on general UI/UX of the game and ideas on how I can increase replay value in this game. I had a goal to reach 250k downloads end of this year, but my marketing campaigns are not being very effective.
Thanks to everyone
